Tuscan Inspired Wedding (Part 1)

I can't believe it was almost a year ago when I met Deb and Alex, the bride and groom, who were married in September at Jasna Polana Golf Club.
I was very excited by all of their ideas from the start. We went for abundant flower arrangements and decor with an overgrown, tarnished elegance...

Highlights from the wedding included a Chuppah made with twisting wisteria branches and hops. Yes, the vines with light green buds were made of hops ( and I was told they were the last of the season...lucky me!). There was a beautiful old pergola in the background, which we were not allowed to use or decorate but our goal was to make a structure which looked a little overgrown and as though it were part of the surroundings.

For the centerpieces, we created three different kinds of tablescapes. The images shown here were made with a collection of handmade ceramic compotes filled with seasonal hydrangeas, vines, pomegranates, orchids and ,of course, olive branches.

More images of centerpieces, etc coming soon!
